Abiyasa 8th and 9th

Okay, I released 2 new vids. Nothing special. It’s just, I haven’t make any vids for the last, like, a month.

I really need to make more vids frequently.

Well, expect 10th soon!!!

Windows 7?!?!?!?!

Okay….. I just installed Windows 7 BETA on my laptop and using it right now toghether with Firefox to write this post.

Surprisingly it runs quite smoothly on an old Acer Travelmate 2410 with a 40 GB of harddrive and 512 MB of RAM. I still need to install some drivers for the modem, touchpad (it runs okay without the driver too), etc.

It uses around 6 GB of harddrive space, still plenty of room for other programs to fit in . Startup is fast, desktop is clean, wallpapers are great, gotta love the new taskbar . UAC is a pain in the ass…

All programs I’ve tested runs smoothly. And they are :

• Mozilla Firefox (obviously). Always been and always will be my favourite browser. Just got the 3.0.6 update! Runs like a charm.
• Mozilla Thunderbird. There was no mail client whatsoever, so I installed this for my default mail client.
• OpenOffice. For my documents, OpenOffice is the one for you (me)!
• Pidgin. For IM purposes.
• GIMP. Image editing made easy…. and free.
• 7-zip. Extracting zip (and rar) files . Just kidding. you can extract zip files by default.
• Winamp. For my mp3s.
• K-Lite Codec Pack. For my flvs .

I haven’t tried any games though. Maybe I’ll try some bigfish games later .
