How’s Ubuntu Hardy Heron?

I just installed Hardy Heron on my laptop (which I’m using right now to write on this blog.)

Well, everything is looking good!:D I love the theme, I love the pricing (free of charge, woohoo!!!), compiz-fusion is just awesome. Updates are overwhelming, which is good.

But it seems that I can’t set my network easily (xp was EASY!). Well, since I’m new to Linux/Unix, I think I just have to learn!

I’m all open for tips and tricks for Ubuntu :D

Teach me! Onegaishimasu! :D :D

Delman vs Cars :D

HORSE POWER

Haha! I didn’t expect someone would take a picture of this :D . A ‘Delman’ (as I called it when I was a kid :D ), a horse-drawn cart.

I used to be very happy riding those. Now, they are just a nuisance (if I’m driving a car… I like motorbike more… more flexible :D ).

And there was a song about this vehicle if I recall right.

Whatever, it’s good if we still have one of those. For childhood sake…

A Cool Website about (mobile)Phones!

Phone Arena – cell phone reviews, news and specs

A very (VERY) good website. It has news, reviews, releases, phone specs, and much more! You can even compare phones!

I must say, this is the place you must see before buying a new cellphone!

No televised Olympics for Indonesia… AGAIN?!?!?!

Indonesian viewers to miss a televised Olympics again

OK, the Olympics will be on in a month and yet, no Indonesian broadcaster has taken the broadcast rights.

The rights for broadcasting the Beijing Games has reportedly soared to $13.7 million, but the ABU has declined to confirm the figure.

Is it really THAT expensive?

Hmmm… better watch the news then…

EPL is much more popular here anyway… better aim for that one !!! :D :D :D

Do you think religion should start at home?

Religious freedom should start at home: Forum

Oh yes, I think so!

Children here in Indonesia usually ‘forced’ by their parents to follow the parents’ religion. Well, not ‘force’, that will be too harsh to the parents.

Still, a child can too choose his/her own religion when he/she really understands it (what it means to choose a religion, or even not to choose one).

I don’t know how long we must wait till everyone (well most of them) thinks that this is an option; to let your children choose their own religion.

Still a long way, I guess…
